During our time at the Western BACE we have been inundated with hundreds of Mums who are running an amazing business both online and offline, all of which is done while juggling the stresses of day to day life. The Super Mums short course aims to deliver all of the crucial elements needed to grow in this ever changing business landscape. Designed as intensive one-day packed full of great speakers and facilitators, all while squeezing into a school day, Meaning it kicks off at 9.30am and concludes at 2.30pm.

Kim Shaw (Founder & Creative Director – Fairy Gardening Australia)
Raised in the Hunter Valley, NSW. With a life long love of fairies, two fairy loving daughters and a keen interest in gardening, Kim founded Fairy Gardening Australia in the garage of her home. Wanting to surround herself with like-minded people, Kim used Facebook to build a fairy gardening community and now has over 85,000 followers, the largest fairy gardening community in the world. From small beginnings, Fairy Gardening Australia is now the largest retailer of fairy garden products in Australia.
Thomas is a builder with a passion for entrepreneurship and startups. After spending a number of years as a management consultant, the Erasmus University and the Rotterdam School of Management engaged Thomas to aid in establishing the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE). After moving to Australia Thomas became the first employee at Startup Victoria. At Startup Victoria Thomas was responsible for growing the community from 3,000 to 11,000 startup enthusiasts, and taking the organisation into sustainability.
A former teacher come Mumpreneur. She founded Offspring Education in 2015 and is the winner of several business awards, Best New and Emerging Business two years in a row, Employer of the Year 2016 and an Ausmumpreneur Award for Sustainability. Lara has also featured in Humans. In Business and recently spoke for TEDx Melbourne and Talk on Purpose.
Her company is driven by the vision to create a world where every child has access to an education that allows them to reach their full potential. Offspring Education offers a breadth of services including professional workshops for educators and teachers, supplies quality educational resources and toys, and provides support for families who need to advocate for their child’s education.
Lara is also a Mum to two little people and a fierce advocate for women in business.
Jordan Gian is a a digital native who runs multiple business’ and uses social media to reach a weekly audience of 600k people. With a background in Design Jordan unknowingly used many Human Centered Design methods in setting up 15 SME’s before his 25th birthday. Jordan’s time is split between design commitments for leading global brands, running ecom businesses, Hospitality venues and consulting on strategy and innovation.
